Since the summer of 2011, we have been
fortunate to have an on-going and growing
relationship with the Ignatian Spirituality Project.
This program, which began in Chicago and has
since spread to 24 U.S cities, provides overnight
retreats and days of reflection for homeless men and women who are in recovery. The goal
is to support and strengthen people in the difficult transition from addiction to recovery,
emphasizing the spiritual tools which help participants remain "clean and sober" one day at
a time.
ISP Atlanta has eight overnight retreats and eight follow-up days of reflection every year,
equally divided between the men and women. All of the retreats are held at the beautiful
Ignatius House on the outskirts of Atlanta in Sandy Springs. Jane Elliott is a facilitator for ISP
Atlanta and many of our CG of H recovery participants have attended and benefited from
this wonderful program. ISP also recruits and trains former retreatants who have substantial
time in recovery to be facilitators on the team.
Please contact Jane Elliott for further information on the schedule for our retreats
